Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Owex Labs (“Owex Labs,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you buy or use the monthly reporting brief. Owex Labs operates from Arlington, Virginia. This is a paid product. We do not publish a company registration number here.
Who this covers
It covers visitors to this website, people who pay for the brief, and people who grant us access to analytics or social properties so we can produce the brief. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, including Stripe’s checkout.
What we collect
- Contact details. Email addresses you use to pay, grant access, or write to us, typically a work email, plus reporting@owexlabs.com correspondence.
- Payment details. Payment is processed by Stripe. Owex Labs does not store card numbers. Stripe may collect the information it needs to charge you. Charges appear on your statement as OWEX LABS BRIEF.
- Dashboard data. If you share Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and optional social access, we receive the data those tools expose for the properties you grant. We use that data only to produce the monthly brief (and related notices if something is actually broken).
- Operational mail. Messages you send to reporting@owexlabs.com or billy@owexlabs.com, including access instructions.
This marketing site does not require an account to read. We do not run a client-logo bar or collect testimonials through this page.
How we use information
- To take payment and run the subscription.
- To build the dashboard and send the monthly email on the 5th.
- To tell you if something is actually broken between briefs.
- To answer access and legal questions.
- To keep records we need for accounting and tax.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use dashboard data to market other products to your audience, and we do not use it as a public case study without a separate written agreement.
Payments
Stripe, Inc. processes payment on our behalf. Card data is handled by Stripe, not stored by Owex Labs. See Stripe’s own privacy documentation for how Stripe handles payment information.
Who we share with
We share information only as needed to run the product:
- Stripe, to process payment and cancellations.
- Email and infrastructure providers we use to send the brief and host this site.
- Google or social platforms, only through the access you grant.
- Professionals such as accountants or lawyers if required.
- Authorities when the law requires it.
Retention
We keep subscription and billing records for as long as the subscription lasts and as long as we need them for tax and legal purposes. Dashboard access should be revoked by you when you cancel; we stop using that access to produce briefs once the subscription ends. Email used to deliver the brief is kept as needed to operate the service.
Your choices
- Cancel the subscription at any time through Stripe’s customer portal or by emailing us.
- Revoke Google Analytics, Search Console, or social access at any time.
- Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing billy@owexlabs.com. We may keep what the law requires.
Security
We limit who can see dashboard access and brief materials. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Grant access at the least privilege that still lets us produce the brief.
Children
This product is for businesses and organizations, not for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes to how we handle dashboard data will be sent to the email we have on file when we can.
